Paddle ball and HANDSTANDS!
This sunday my friend Davis and I ventured up to Venice Beach!!! After a crazy route compliments of our Garmin-I swear it tried to take us on EVERY freeway possible-we finally made it there!
Our initial stroll on the boardwalk came with many surprises to me, which I soon found out were the Venice Beach norm. From a man jumping on broken glass to a woman shaving her legs in the street, we saw it all! Not to mention the multiple people trying to sell us “medical marijuana.” Maybe I’m sheltered…
We of course had to check out the American Apparel Factory store (where many deals were found), then after lunch on the boardwalk we started biking! We rode all the way down past the Santa Monica Pier and stopped at a much quieter part of the beach on the other end. We had so much fun playing paddle ball and tossing around the football-both of which I am supremely horrible at…but oh well :)

Once it started getting cold, we rode back to our car. Shopping, muscle beach, biking, and lunch; what more could a girl ask for?! Maybe next time I’ll throw getting a tan into the mix.
